James Stahling, Principal Environmental Geologist with Stahling Environmental Services, began his career over 30 years ago as a wellsite geologist on offshore oil rigs in the Gulf of Mexico. His knowledge of petroleum led him to the field of petroleum release assessments and remediation of underground storage tanks through the enactment by the Federal Government of the regulations for the cleanup of petroleum underground storage tank sites.
